im not talking about shorter than what is recommended, but so far with my rifle rounds i have been seating to mag length and am a pretty good ways farther out than recommended (only the .308 really) and wanted to know what kind of difference seating at the minimum could make in velocity
the gun in particular im wanting to work on is a .204 ruger, currently seating 2.26 and minimum is 2.25, i am going to reduce my charge for a little better accuracy but will the velocity be close if not the same if i seat to 2.25 after i drop the load .5 grains?
i have a chrono and will test this on my own but asked here too to see what experiences anyone else has had, since bullets are not cheap either
