Will CZ have problems importing the new RAMI?

Two things:
1. If you guys would read he page some of your questions would be answered. http://www.shotshowreports.com/2003pg2.html

2. If you are going to post my pictures it might help others if you show them where you got it from so there wouldn't be so many unanswered questions. I don't do those pages so that they will be a secret. The info is for everyone. I have known about this pistol for years, but was not allowed to show a regular picture last year. This year was different. Obviously it is in a hand, that is because it was not on display.

Justin, thanks for making the post. I've been shopping for a ccw pistol for some time now and this looks like it will fit the bill. If it is coming out later this year it will give me plenty of time to save up for it. Can't wait! :D

Jeff is right. He should receive credit where it is due. He uses his connections to track down all of the coolest stuff at SHOT for us.

This was one of my "what guns will you buy in '03 picks"
It's been discussed on CZ forum as well.
Let's hope it comes with a safety rather than the decocker as the decocker is a bit less belly friendly. And No cocked and locked with a decocker but might be possible with a CZ safety.

Let's hope it comes with the great SA/DA triggers we have come to expect from CZ and not a DAO unit.

Both are better options. The CZecks are logical so I figure I'll be able to get one to-order by Christmas.

Then all I need do is break out the Gold-dots and I'm good to go.

Discontinue the CZ40B and import...

... the RAMI?!?!?

While having the RAMI available would be nice, I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Anyone remember the magazine ads that ran, listing the Compact as being available in .40 S&W! That happened like the sun rising in the west. I do really like the CZ design, but they're not exactly the most accurate in delivering a promised(and actually advertised) product that had a number of us CZ'ers salivating in wait.

But, one can hope....

Thanks Correia, but I am not looking for credit, except on where the picture is. The thing is that the calibers, availability, and where the name came from is all in the report, but since the picture is posted with no source nobody knows to go read the answers to their questions.

After talking with CZUSA about the Compact 40....NOT THE RAMI!
The Compact 40 will be out this year (like nvrquit mentions...they are speculating in "CZ time"...I havent figured the actual ratio to real time  )
Its gonna be a steel framed, Cond 1 gun.....just a Compact.
I know about the frustration of having stuff advertised light years before its available......CZ did the tooling for the Compact 40 but was put under the "production gun" with the PO1 production...meeting its contractual agreements with LE customers. Since its up and running......the Compact 40 is next.
Shoot well

Jeff and Correia- You're both right. When I initially posted the message I guess that I had a moment of stupidity.:(
I tried to edit my initial post, but the time limit has expired. I have, however, sent a message to one of the mods to see if he could do some judicious editing on my post to add both a link and credit where they are due.

Steel framed, Cond 1 gun...

PCRCCW,

Is this meant to indicate that the Compact 40 will not be DA/SA with the Cond 1 capability, as the CZ40B has?

If so, that's one I'll pass on, as I don't personally feel comfortable carrying in Cond 1. Just a personal thing, not a flame on those that do.

Micro fanny pack and off duty gun with enough mass to ensure proper functioning despite small size.

I want me one.

Wonder how long it'll take to get 'em approved in California.
