Will D frame grips for my new king Cobra?

I've read on here and other forums where some wood grips made for the original D frame short frame guns would fit my new king Cobra as long as I have a grip locator pin?

Is this true? I'd love to have a set of D frame magna style grips on .y new cobra. Do these need the locator pin to fit or do they need to be modified as well in some way? Thanks for any help on this guy's.

Showbox1.1 I play to try here this week get some pictures on the cold form of D frame grips on the newer Cobra and king cobra models. I have the king cobra carry which is the two inch barrel model I bought it as a concealed carry weapon. So judging from what I've seen on the Colt form and what a couple of gritmates just like badger grips told me they will fit I also have to locate a pin for a Colt D frame coming. I'll be sure to get you know my results. I'll post up here.
