.......Trade a BHP MKII for an XD tactical?
The BHP is all nice and accurate, but I have no real purpose for it, except for collection (I guess?). I'm planning on acquiring an XD for USPSA competition (production div.), but there's no gun funds available right now. Trade the BHP? Please help!
 
Although a standard MkIII out-of-the-box is easily replaceable, you will miss it and regret trading it away. In addition, you'll appreciate the XD more if you have to save up and plan for it.
 
You asked for an opinion!

You would be much better served with the BHP. As others have suggested here keep the BHP and save for the XD. You won't regret it :p
 
Don't trade a BHP for anything, especially something you don't know how much you'll like. Pay cash for the XD, then decide.
 
Why trade either one? Just save up the cash, and when you have saved
enough $$$$ go get the XD Tactical.

But, oh yes! I know all to well 'bout gun fever. It's kind'a like your first
love, you will do anything to get it! ;) :D

But, as other's have said I'm afraid you will regret getting shed of the
BHP or the Glock 17. :(

In my opinion, the BHP Mark II is hard to come by these days, the glock on the other hand...I think you already know the answer to that ;)

Don't ever sell/trade a BHP, or you'll be kicking yourself later on :D
