Will Marlin 336 See Thru Mounts fit a Marlin 1894 44 mag?

I did a search online to buy some scope mounts for my Marlin 1894 44 mag lever action. I came up with nothing. From recollection(memory's fading) isnt the rifle have the same setup as the 336? Couldn't I just use the marlin 336 see through mounts? Any help would be appreciated.

Check www.brownells.com www.natchezss.com or www.midwayusa.com and look for the bases for the 1894 and the 336. If the bases are the same, you could use the same mounts.
