Well, when I read through the law posted in another thread here, it looked to me like the answer is "Yes, until 1 July 2013." After that, it would have to go to an FFL--not because the law per se requires it, but from the need to present the "approved buyer ID/permit" to a "responsible party."
Now, I'm neither a lawyer nor a CT resident. I also read the law very late at night making notes on the back of an envelope, too.
Like I'm not sure how many ID/Permits a CT resident has to take out. Read one way, you need a Pistol; a Rifle, an Ammo, an "aw" and a magazine permit ($35 each good for 5 years). Read the otherway, it's a permit per each.
The real question really is whether the mail-order people will stop accepting orders and shipping to CT before the Date Certain.
