I have been waiting since the AWB expired to see if anyone would start making the superb Calico carbines again. Is this gun going to be a footnote in history or are they going to be made again?

They are being made again.

Did they ever stop making them? I had heard they were still being produced for export. Local shop has a batch of them, but asking 3 prices for them.

I kinda miss the days of the readily available goofy guns that were made just for the heck of it. If anything the AWB has made this sport a heck of a lot more serious than it used to be.

I have one it has NEVER misfed with any ball ammo. Either with 50 or 100 round mag. The sights seem hokey but work OK for CQB. I had a .22 pistol that I let get away:mad: , but theb 9mm model is actually a well made weapon. I kept mine while getting rid of HK 94 and Thompson 1927, and UZI model B for a big profit right before the Kali 2000 ban. IMHO the pistol caliber semi carbines are heavy toys,so I might as well have the Calico with it's mega mag. I think I made the right choice!:)

I've never had any jamming issues with my 951 carbine. The only thing that might cause issues is someone that does not wind the mag the correct number of revolutions. I've always wound it per the marking on the mag be it 50 or 100 and no problems.
