Will these Calibers ever be sold in large stores?

Not fighting over the energy numbers, read it again. Proper bullet terminal perfomance happens within a narrow fps range, most rifle bullets usualy do not expand below 1800 fps if you ever read their detailed specs. The 300 BO is effective, just not ballenced IMHO. It maximizes point blank impact at the cost of downrange performance. 6.8SPC is a better ballenced package that is why it will survive. And I am a very good shot as a matter of fact :)

It is true that for any bullet, there is one velocity they are most ideal for given any specific target. I tuned the AccuTip bullets to be most optimal at 100 yards to yield the FBI-preferred 12-18 inches of bare-gel penetration. The jacket is thinner up front than most 308 bullets. In spite of 6.8 having better performance at farther ranges, 300 BLK is going to be popular because it uses normal magazines, bolts, has 30 round capacity, and starting in November, much cheaper ammo. I do think of it like 10mm vs 40 S&W. There will always be people who insist the 40 S&W is not powerful enough, but most people just want enough power with an easier to deal with package and lower priced ammo.
