What does that mean? WHat's the difference for a flat top rifle in the front sight?

The front sight post is a different height for flattops and an A2 upper (carry handle is not removable). The F marking designates the the front sight post is for flattop receivers.

You want the F marked upper with a flattop.

Concerning the carry handle option. I ordered my CMMG upper with a LMT BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights). I chose that option so I would have the same rugged sights as a carry handle but can still mount and co-wittnes optics. Just something to think about (see attached picture).

Also, CMMG prices are in line with most other online retailers. You may as well order everything at once and save on shipping costs.

Oh, alright. That explains the whole F marked thing, thanks. The BUIS is interesting, but is a bit more in cost compared to the detachable handle. I like the handle because of its... aesthetic qualities, in my opinion. This is gonna be more of a plinker than anything else, of course.

So I've got my Upper picked out, a buttstock picked out, and a lower parts kit picked out... all I need is the stripped lower, right? That I can take care of... I hope!!! This is gonna be a fun rifle. ^^b
