I've run many thousands of rounds of Wolf steel cased ammo through my bushy... without failure.
The older lacquered type dirties up the chamber quite a bit... you need to keep that clean. The newer stuff is much cleaner. I've put as many as 1500 rounds of the newer stuff down range between cleanings. No issues.
I've recently started shooting silver bear, since it's quite a bit cheaper locally than wolf is. Steel case with some sort of silvery metal plating. It shoots just as well as the wolf does. I put 500 problem free rounds of it down last week. I've been using the same in .308 for my PTR91. I've only used about 200 rounds of it so far, but it has been 100% to this point.
I've heard people say that steel cased ammo is hard on your extractor. I keep a spare extractor (+spring and buffer) in my shooting box, but over the last 2 years with a steady diet of steel cased ammo, the original extractor is still functioning just as it should. Even if it does break... I've saved more than enough money shooting cheap steel cased ammo to pay for a whole bunch of extractors.
