Went to my gun shop today and picked up my Rock Island Officer's 1911 that I ordered with a couple of Wilson 47DOX mags. No pictures as the gun is still at the shop waiting for my night sights to be installed and the 'smith to go over it and do a "fluff and buff" treatment on the internals.

Anyways I can't very well sign all the paperwork and then not shoot a new gun. I just don't have that kind of willpower. The supplied 7 round mag functions perfectly, but both of the Wilson's kept dropping out of engagement, although not completely falling out of the gun with nearly every shot. As long as there is a round (or snap cap) in the mag it will drop when the slide moves forward 9/10 times. Aside from this the pistol functioned flawlessly, and proved to be more accurate than me. I'm all for practicing the tap rack bang just in case it happens when SHTF, but to do it after every round fired is a little annoying. Anybody know what could be causing this?

On a side note, I have a couple of Wilson 47D mags that I use for my Para SSP, and it seems that I had a similar issue with these when they were new with the magazine doing the same thing and causing an FTF. It happened less frequently than this but they seemed to "wear in" over time and now function perfectly with that gun. Any input would be appreciated. If I'm still having the problem when I have the gun at home I'll post pics.

P.S. After the first time this happened, I double checked that the mag was fully seated after inserting it by pulling on the bottom of the mag to make sure it wouldn't fall out, and got 0 improvement. First round always fed, but I was rolling the dice on every subsequent shot.
