First post, hope I've done it right!!

I have a Win Md 67 single shot 22 that I purchased ($3.95) about 1940 as a young boy. I can't find a serial number anywhere. I've even removed the stock looking for it. I'm sure it should have a number on it. I'm stumped. Does anyone have any suggestions?:banghead:

The Winchester model 67 did not have serial numbers. Serial numbers were not required until the Gun Control act of 1968. It not unusual to see older pre 68 22s and even some shot guns without serial numbers. On lower profit guns it wasn't worth their time.

Thanks Runningman for the info.
I had just assumed that all had a serial number because the Mdl 63 that I had in early 50's had one. It was more expensive so I believe you had the right answer. Thanks again.

I picked up a Winchester Model 67A two weeks ago. It has no serial number, nor was one required back then. :D
