New member, lovin' this site!

I have a Winchester model 62, 22 S L or LR. NO "A" stamped on barrel or either S/N. S/N is 1737xx.
I'm curious to know the value since I might be selling it.
I have done some research and have not been able to get clarity weather it is a 62 or a 62A. Does this effect the value? I've been told that EVERYTHING produced after S/N 99000 is a 62A. The gun was given to me some 25 years ago from original owner. Very little use, barrel is mirror clean w/distinct rifling. Stock and forearm are 95% or better and bluing is 90% or better with wear in normal places and spots on top of barrel, near muzzle and tube. I have seen 62s and 62As ranging from $350.00 to $1595.00. Some clarity would be a big Help!

Thanks
