So, as usual I've taken way too long and spent way too much money on this project. Long story short I bought a 20 gauge 1200 for my boys, and then bought a 1300 parts kit (both 20 gauge) with everything minus the receiver, now have a used receiver at FFL. I also bought the rare "Defender" style 20 gauge barrel and took a couple of years to find the proper mag tube (until recently they were unobtanium; but are now commonly available for some reason). I guess that wasn't really short. Sue me. :)

Anyway, I'm having trouble locating the proper mag tube throat for the 20 gauge defender mag tube, which is threaded at the receiver end, requiring a one piece throat. The parts kit and existing 1200 have two piece throats for the 5-shot, non-threaded mag tubes.

So: anyone know if I can get a recent-manufactured 20 gauge one piece throat, even if my receivers are older than that stipulated below?

OR do I have to try to track down a 20-gauge version of this?
