Winchester 1300 Youth

I am looking for a good fitting shotgun for my wife and was going to get an 870 Exprees Youth but found a Winchester 1300 Speed Pump Youth that fits and feels even better.

I am not familar with this shotgun and could anybody offer any info.

I own 7 1300's love them all. The rotary bolt system will help out on the recoil on her. It is lightweight, has great pointability, and a wider rib area. Also the rib is a floating rib, which the Remington is rigid. This means if she decides to shoot Trap or Skeet, where the barrel generates alot of heat, as the barrel expands, the rib is flexible on it's mounting posts to keep it flat. I beleive she will enjoy it for Years to come.

Great guns all around. The only flaw with mine is with some 3" mag shells it has a bad habit of not ejecting them cleanly if not "pumped like it was stolen" because the front of the fired shell rubs the front of the ejection port.

Yes, you do have to aim... it's a shotgun, not a Claymore on a stick

If the fit and feel are right for her, and the price is right, grab it. They're good solid guns.
