I hope I,m not stepping out of line here but could I ask that you check out this Winchester 1873.
The Bismarck Mandan Rifle and Pistol Assoc. is trying to make a little money by auctioning off a rifle on gunbroker. The money will go towards a new indoor 50 meter range.
Here is the link.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=57630296

The clubs address id http://www.bmrpa.org

The club is involved in many shooting disciplines. High power, rifle and
handgun silhouette, bullseye, cowboy action, BPCS, ...............
If you have questions please ask!
Thanks for looking!

There have been a few questions about having to ship this rifle through
an FFL. If this rifle was made in 1888 does it need to be shipped to an
FFL holder?

You need to Verify this with your FFL holder

but I'm quite certain that any firearm manufactured prior to 1899 is considered an "Antique" and can be shipped to anyone, irrespective of whether they have a FFL or not.

I think my FFL holder just logs everything in no matter what. The more
I read the law and the gunbroker web site the more I agree with you.
Thanks!

Well, thank for looking everyone. This is about the last of it. I'm going
pheasant hunting and won't be back until the auctionis about over.
Thanks again!
