Here are some pictures of a Winchester M1917 I've had for a while. It's been through the WW2 rebuild program at Ogden Arsenal and bears the Elmer Keith inspection cartouche. Typical mixmaster, with the original Winchester 1-18 dated barrel and bolt. The rest of the rifle has mostly 'E' marked parts.

Shown with an original Remington bayonet and scabbard. Also has a very nice M1907 WW2 era sling.

Hope you enjoy it.

That is a really sweet 1917. Please don't ever sporter it. If you ever want to sell it shoot me a PM. It would look nice along side my Winchester Garand.

Highpower.. that is awesome!! Thanks for posting those pics.

I have a sporterized (only stock shortened) Remmy '17 with the Ogden/Keith cartouche. I wish it had the full stock but it's a really beautiful rifle and an excellent shooter.

I suspect mine was cut down after it was arsenal rebuilt since I assume the Keith inspection wasn't stamped on sporterized versions. Just a guess on my part though.

You have a really nice rifle there sir !

I have a 1917 Eddystone. I love this rifle and have competed with it in C&R matches. It's not a tack driver (3-4 inch groups at 200 yds) but otherwise a great rifle to shoot.

I had a gunsmith modify a front sight adjustment tool designed for a SKS. It cost me $8 for the tool and it took the gunsmith about 10 minutes to mill down the center so it would fit the sight of the 1917.
