I am starting to load for an LWRC M6A3 12.7" 5.56. I am going for economical and decent. Not the cheapest and not MOA at 300+ yards either. Anyone had any good success with these?

I have looked at all the main places such as wideners, Jeff Bartlet, TJ, etc. Recommend me a good starter. I am thinking about getting some brass from them too as I have no .223/5.56.

Winchester and/or Remington .224", 55 grain FMJ-BT bulk bullets are fair to middlen blasting bullets. Better then mil-sup pulls in fact.
You will not win any bench-rest matches though.

I have never even heard of the company you linked too however, so I know zero about them.

Don't know about the bullets but I've bought from tjconevera a few times and no problems, quick shipping, and have never had any complaints. Good company to deal with.

I ordered 3k of the Win 55 FMJBT w/c's from TJ, good guy to deal with. RC is right, these are definately no match grade, but they're economical and decent for sure. Any of these open based FMJ's don't fly as sttraight as the fullly closed jacketed bottoms like the V-max etc. I can hit 8" plates at 200 yds no problem, I'm a plinker not a bench rest guy. I load 24.8g of AA2230 in mixed brass for a 16" HBAR, I bet these Win FMJ's will hold right at about 1.5 moa. Plenty good for me and oldest boy.

Thanks Bula, I've ordered Berry's from TJ and that's why I thought about getting the Win FMJ's from him. Good business. We're probably the same. I'm no bench rest guy either. Just looking for some quick 200 yard and under loads.

Sounds good. I might tried one of his brass/bullet combo's. One of these days I'll try some V-max's too.
