i need help intentifying, and possibly finding on the net, some missing screws from the receiver of my winchester model 94 in 30-30. it came with a side mounted scope that i removed quite some time ago, the screws in the mount were extended. also, there is a screw on the oposite side of the receiver that seems to be missing as well.

Chances are the screws can be bought from Brownells. They should be standard scope mount size and they should have blank or filler screws to go into the holes.

The two rear screws are usually for a receiver sight (iron) mount assembly....conceivably could be used as an adjunct scope mount point.

Forward screw is a plug screw used as a block for the takedown pin for removing the lever bolt assembly. That screw hole you mention on the opposite side of the forward screw is just a hole enabling you to insert a pin punch to remove that bolt/lever assembly.

Brownells or Gunparts Corp. will be able to help you find plugs for the rear and replacement for the front.

I searched Brownells and midway with no luck. I called midway to be sure and she could only find a kit for pre 64. No screws or kits for post 64.

Fixing to try the link posted by rcmodel....

I picked up a post-64 top eject Win 94 that also had a side-mount scope installed at one time. I found the parts I needed at Homestead Parts

Shipping was fast, prices were reasonable.

You will need the plug screws which were the small ones, these were only used to close the drilled holes for the rear scope mount.
The front screw is the finger lever pin stop screw, this has a longer unthreaded part that extends into the action to locate the pin that links the lever to the action. Make sure that the pin is in place, it is common for it to fall out when the screw is removed, and then the gun won't work. It's cheaper to buy everything in one envelope because the parts are so small the shipping is the same.
