Winchester 94AE

Hello,

I just bought a Winchester 94 AE 30-30 and would like to know the year is was manufactured. Would the serial number help? 6407XXX

Any help would be appreciated. Also, it has a gold trigger...does that mean spit?

Would help if I could, but I can't.

Your rifle is newer then the stopping point of my serial number list.

All I can tell you is it was made well after 1983 (5103249).

Winchester Repeating Arms Co. went bankrupt and became U.S. Repeating Arms Company in 1981.
Serial number records after that are not widely available.
