winchester 97 value

97s have gone up in price because of cowboy action shooting.

Value depends upon a lot of factors, level of original condition being the most important. Guage, barrel length, choke, age.

At a recent gun show I saw a clunker for $150, several in the $400-$600 range and a couple in the $900 range. I could not figure out why the later couple were worth $900.

I was looking through gunsamerica and I see prices that were very high. Some of the riot guns were 900 and up. I'd like to buy one but at those prices I'm out of that market!!!!

i am thinking of an old standard 12 ga that has been around the barn many times. but it is a part of gun history. the one i know of was made in 1898.
