I was bored and surfing the web and came upon this gun. Looks really cool! I could shoot all day with this gun and my Mosin's.

Anyone know how many of them are out there? I could only find 1 on gunbroker.
Does anyone have one or has ever shot one?

There isn't a whole lot of them out there. Most people who have them will shoot them occasionally for kicks, but they are more collectors items than shooters due to the age and rarity of them.

I haven't seen or shot one but they are pretty rare and very expensive. You could probably buy 20-30 mosins for the same price.

Most of 'em are still in Russia so there are scarce as hen's teeth in the states.

Supposedly, an importer tried to buy a bunch from the Russians a few years back, but the Russians wanted so much per rifle that there would have been no room to mark them up to turn a profit so the deal didn't go through.

I saw one at a gun show down in austin 3-4 years ago.1200.00 and it was a beater:uhoh:.

You would think the Russians would have dropped the price some to make the sale. Less money is better then no sale.

Also makes me wonder if there is a stash of S&W model 3's over there that could be imported.
