Going through the family gun cabinet we came across a Winchester Model 60 .22lr. Most of it is easy to figure out but I have been trying to find a manual for the rifle or someone who is knowledgeable about this model. Any suggestions?

Seems like I shot one at some point in my childhood. Single shot .22, with a manual cocking knob and no safety? Other than uncocking it that is.

Was there something specific that you wanted to know from the manual?

There is this little screw on the back that apparently is the take down screw- either the gun is so old and wasn't maintained so it won't break down for cleaning, or there is something else you have to do after you unscrew it - I'm trying to figure out which it is :)

Screw on the back for takedown?
Sure it isn't a model 63 auto-loader?

If in fact it is a Model 60 bolt action.
Pull the trigger and hold it back and the bolt will come out for cleaning.

The screw on the back of the bolt isn't a screw.
It is a plug held in the bolt by a cross pin.
