I have an old single shot and I need an extractor for it.
Any suggestions on where to get one.
It looks a lot like a tuning fork.
It shoots 22 shorts, longs and long rifle.

That company seems to have a good idea but very few parts. I hope they will be able to expand their selection, since another good source of parts (even repro) for the older guns is needed.

That extractor looks like injection molding or MIM (I see an ejector pin mark) so it is a repro, but who cares if it works.

You may be right it could be a repo.
We will see I already ordered it.
I am not a collector so I don't have any safe queens.
As long as it works that is all I care about.
I will let you guys know when I get it.

Got the extractor today and shot the gun all afternoon.
Great service-I recived the part 4 days by US mail.
Classic Firearms did a great job for me!

Great!!!

Good to hear!

Was the part a newly cast repro, or an original old Winchester part??

It looks like a very old worn part from an orginal gun.
Keep in mind I am no expert on these types of things, but I know it works great.
Thx for the connection RC.

Had your original one been damaged or lost? I've got a 60A that uses a similar extractor...and I've considered buying a spare for it.

My was broken in half when I took it apart to see why it would not work.
I have no idea how it happend.
Because of the age it could have just been a strees crack that got worse over time.

I acquired the same rifle a year or so ago with some others from an estate.
I checked my rifle and the extractor seems fine.
Thanks for the wake up call though!
