Back when Winchester announced they were closing their plant I immediately ordered a model 70 Stealth. This is not the Stealth II but the first model.
It is actually one of my best rifles, extremely accurate and just a great gun. To date I have 90 rounds though it. It's so accurate it's boring to shoot. Chambered in .308, thought I'd use it for long range shooting butjust never have.
I was curious if there is anywhee that gives me the year it was made? The serial # is G236XXXX, anyone have an idea when manufactured?
