So I decided to go out on a limb and get this value pack of Winchester knives for $19.00 from Walmart.
Overall I'm pleased with them. They seem fairly well made, though it's obvious they're mass produced in the fit of the grip scales and the machine marks on all the flat edges (around the handle, back of the blade, etc). The liner lock knife with the pocket clip is a bit stiff. The screws on that one are 6 pointed star screws, and overall it seems fairly sturdy. It's partially serrated. I've tested the lock some and it's pretty sturdy, I wouldn't be worried about it closing on my fingers.
The classic "pocket knife" with 3 blades is pretty well made as well, and though it's not a locking knife it seems like it will be a fairly good "utility" knife to be used for myriad tasks. The blade shapes are varied and will come in useful for various cutting and opening tasks as well as cleaning under my nails or whittling. None of these blades are serrated.
The fixed blade knife is my favorite. It comes with a belt sheath made from nylon with a retention snap and the Winchester logo. It's a full tang blade with a finger groove. This blade is not serrated. It's already on my belt strongside between the loops for my holster.
All three knives have the blade either laser etched or painted with some kind of fairly scratch resistant paint with Oliver Winchester's signature. (the 3 blade knife has this on the largest blade only). All three have a fairly sharp edge, though they do need a decent honing to smooth and keen the edge. They come in a nice tin case with a cheap 'velour' coated plastic insert. I am using the tin for small parts, screws, springs etc. on my work bench that don't already have a place.
Overall a fairly good deal for under $20. As a bonus, the wood in the scales ALMOST matches the grips on my 1911
