Thanks for the PM...I got it loaded and it downloaded weather perfectly. It will also go to a gray screen that says its waiting on input. I go to the menu and click on input data and get a screen that won't let me input anything in to the folders. Am I missing some instructions hidden somewhere? By the way, thanks for this program, once I figure it out its gonna be a great range tool.

No. That is weird. If you click on the Input Window you should see a screen that has things like Ballistic Coefficient and Initial Velocity. From there you should be able to edit that information then compute a solution. Then you should be able to view it all in the range window. If that doesn't help then send me a PM and i'll try to guide you through it.

Got it loaded and up and running now. Guess I didn't see the part that told me to click on menu and then "main stuff" to get to the input window. Haven't tried it yet on a load but will let you know how it works when I do. Thanks again.

I have. And when I started my goal was to make a version for just about every mobile platform out there. But then I hit road block after road block, mostly with the iPhone and blackberry, and got really busy with work. I'll get back to it but right now I'm in a busy part of my life.

I browse alot here, never really comment, found this via a google search and have to say this is outstanding. I appreciate the hard work!

I wish I had more time to develop it some more but I have been so bogged down with school that I don't even have time for myself :)

Ok call me stupid, where do I find ballistics data on the rounds I'm shooting?

Well, after you go to "Menu", then "Main Stuff" and then "Input Window" and put in the information about your round, range, weather etc... Then you click "Compute" on the main window and it will compile a solution after an amount of time(depending on your phone/device). When that says it is done then you go back to "Menu", "Main Stuff" and then click "Range Table" and it will show you the solution. PM me if you have anymore issues.

I used to write Palm apps....back when the Handspring Prism was the "hot" PDA to own....I'm not going back to that mess. That code was nasty....given it didn't help that I made the apps on the Prism, usually on my lunchbreaks (the joys of the folding keyboard)....but I digress.

Awesome app, if I had a Win Mobile device I'd use it. Thanks for the good work man!

how about mils?

Thanks for building this app, it seems pretty slick. I can't wait to try it in the field. however, I have one request, how about an output in mils?

Are you going to submit it to the iTunes store as an app?

The iTunes store apps are only for the iPhone. There are already very developed, non-free, applications for the iPhone. Sorry.
