Wisconsin Supreme Court upholds gun ban for deadbeat dad

While not the most sympathetic person this is a case that should involve strict scrutiny and a perfect example of how a non-violent felony shouldn't end your 2nd Amendment rights. I'm sure they wouldn't attempt to prevent this man from being able to vote.

I would wager this has less to do with the child support and more to do with possession of stolen property, especially since the stolen property was a firearm. That has been the opinion of judges I have worked with in small time county far from Wisconsin anyway.
