We need to see how CAs ban turns out in the 9th. (We won initially but CA has requested it to be heard en blanc)
If we lose in the 9th en blanc CRPA is set to take the case to SCOTUS,
if they take it or not is another issue. If they do a win there could help everyone.
A win for us in the 9th en blanc would not help those in the 3rd, but might allow them to take their case to SCOTUS.

"Gun-control groups see the ruling as a victory for common sense restrictions." Yah. Whose common sense? This is an intentional framing of the terms to imply that limiting magazine capacity is sensible and that it's commonly understood to be so. An online dictionary says that common sense involves "sound and prudent judgment based on ... the situation or facts". I believe that an examination of the facts would lead most prudent persons to make a judgment that magazine capacity is irrelevant to gun violence. Therefore it cannot be common sense that it is relevant, and that limiting capacity will reduce gun violence. We need to contest these tactics, because he who frames the terms of the debate is most likely to win that debate.
