Recently I had to choose between purchasing a new 4006tsw and a used Sig P229 .40. I chose the Sig because I find that used guns often offer a better value than new guns.
However, I'm still smarting from not having the Smith. This P229 is a scary accurate .40 with a sweet, smooth double and single action trigger. I just couldn't be happier with the Sig.
So here is where I need some wisdom, particularly from those of you who actually own or have shot the 4006tsw. Should I just forget about this gun now that I have the Sig? What am I missing out on? Is it a sweet shooter like the Sig? It sure felt damn good in my hand and the trigger out of the box was excellent. And well . . . I just really want one. But, given its price, it's money that can't be spent lightly.
I guess I would be happy if I bought one and liked it just as much as my Sig, but I would be very unhappy if I spent that much money and liked it less than my Sig.
Wisdom. I need wisdom!!!!
