With this 'arsenal', which sports could I play?

Among the various NRA-endorsed and various other shootings sports organizations, what shooting sports events could I participate 'as is' without any additions to this collection? My stuff isn't really tailored or custom anything yet, but I'd like to start giving myself a little direction and giving the hardware some "regular use".

AR-15 5.56
AK clone 7.62x39
20 gauge pump
1911 .45acp
10/22 .22LR
M44 7.62x54R

AR-15 5.56
*NRA National Match Course; tactical carbine, USPSA 3-gun or multigun.

AK clone 7.62x39
*Damfino. I have seen some entered in carbine or 3-gun... but not winning.

20 gauge pump
*I think 3-gun allows 20s; Skeet if you can shuck the pump REAL well.

1911 .45acp
*NRA National Match; USPSA Single Stack, IDPA CDP, 3-gun.

10/22 .22LR
*CMP Rimfire Sporter (50 yard bullseye)

M44 7.62x54R
*4th of July, New Years Eve. Please shoot blanks, don't fire bullets in the air.

*Read up, go to some shoots, trade the Commie surplus for something useful.

I've seen Trap shot with a 20, but not in serious competition.
On the other hand, Fred Missildine said the 20 was ideal for Skeet. But you have to be a real sharp pumpgunner to get the doubles.

I don't see the difference as you still shoot the same ounce weight of shot.

I shoot the same numbers with an 870 in 12 and an O/U in 20 when shooting trap. Maybe its just me though.

True, there is not as much difference in loads as there used to be. He could certainly give Trap a try with a 20, assuming it had some choke.

Do most clubs require membership to participate in hosted events? Or are those typically open to visitors?

Or does it depend on the club? What's most common?

Most that I have seen are open to anyone. They usually have a club discount though.

A lot of clubs also have steel shoots for the 1911 and bowling pin shoots for your 1911 and/or shotgun. Those are also a lot of fun.

Most scheduled matches are open to the public or at least to members of the sanctioning organization like NRA or IDPA. My small club has more outsiders than members at many IDPA shoots.

At my club you would be welcomed to shoot one IDPA match with us as a guest and non-IDPA member. After that we'd ask you to join IDPA if you wanted to continue to shoot further matches with us.

IDPA requires that member clubs open their matches to all registered IDPA members.

We do have a "Temporary Membership" that covers you with our club for your match day (it's $1 a day but we take it out of your match fee) so you wouldn't have to join our club if you only wanted to come shoot IDPA matches.

Now, if you wanted to come out for our Thursday night practice sessions then yes, we'd ask you to join our club.
