I picked up a 10mm Witness Polymer Compact and will have a chance to get to the range next weekend. The 12 round factory magazines won't let me load more than 10 rounds, and the followers seem to stick when the magazines have 9 or 10 rounds in them and do not hold the top round firmly. If I tap the magazines the followers will come loose and the top round will be held in place correctly. I also picked up some 14 round Mac Gar magazines, which I can fully load with no problem. Will the factory magazines improve with use or is there something I can try to correct these issues?

I do not have that particular model. However, based upon the behavior of the magazines that came with my full size steel Witness I would expect them to improve with use. Use a mag loading tool to fill them and let them set the springs a bit.
