I realize that this is a long review but it's thorough. I will say that I was very skeptical about the possible performance of a clamp on muzzle brake. The fact that it was $100 or more cheaper than the other clamp on brakes I could find was a little off putting. After watching a successful youtube video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJ2wUjeKLbY) by larry akin I ordered their Clamp On Muzzle Brake. You will need your caliber, EXACT muzzle diameter and the diameter 1.5 inches from the muzzle (mine was .308 Win, .863, .881 for example). I did opt for the graphite black Cerakote to match my barrel. Installation wasn't easy, it wasn't hard either. I ended up using 2 steel washers with the two outer screws as a reverse clamp. I then tightened down all the screws after the brake was fully seated.

I waited 2 days to go shooting giving the Cerakote a few extra days to dry. My niece went with me, she is very sensitive to recoil. My brothers Mosin with a Limbsaver pad was a one shot and done for her. I can't speak to point of impact change, I mounted a new scope also. Long story short it shot less than 1 MOA at 100 yards (best was .822 with my micrometer center to center) and the recoil was 50% to 60% less or more. Pre-brake I got 20 rounds out of my .308 Win before I started to hurt. After the Brake I put 30 rounds and my niece put 20 downrange, we would have went more but ran out of ammo. We both were even able to see our hits at 100 yards too! Witt Machine gets a big thumbs up from us both!

As a side note when Witt Machine seen I was checking my order (I was looking for a way to post this review) he called to make sure that everything was okay and that I had received my order. That is customer service! If you are interested in ordering just go to www.wittmachine.net. sorry for no pics, it's late. Maybe I'll get some tomorrow if I can figure out how to make my new phone work.

i must say its a really cool idea. much of the cost of a conventional brake is having a gunsmith install it. its not the prettiest brake i have ever seen, but since it is effective, and very reasonably priced, it should do well.
