Wolf Ammo

I haven't bought 7.62x39 in quite a while since I don't shoot it all that much, but I was looking for a deal on 1000 rounds of Wolf (no other reason other than it is usually cheap) and it seems like no one carries it anymore.

Cheaperthandirt.com says that it is no longer available and Impactguns.com and others just don't seem to carry it anymore. Did something happen to the company or is there an importing problem?


I guess it is Tull ammo now or Brown Bear if I can find it although there doesn't seem to be 1000/$200 deals anymore.

try unammo.com...they have silver bear for $250shipped/1000 rounds. You can find yugo army surp for around $210-ish. If you're hell bent on wolf, which is pretty much tulammo, then the last place I bought it was the link below. You won't find non-suplus ammo for $200 shipped/1000rnds

$250/1K shipped is a good deal. Especially since it appears that all my usual sources are sold out completely on Wolf x39.

Plenty of other non corrosive options. The three bears, Golden Tiger, Tula. Personally, I clean my guns after shooting so I don't see it as a big deal. I just run corrosive milsurp.

I found Wolf 7.63X39 at ammoman.com for $229/1K rds. with free shipping. They also have the older Yugoslavian surplus (with corrosive primers) for $249/1260 rds. Another site, ammotogo.com, had the same Yugo ammo for slightly less at $229, along with Brown Bear for $315/1400 rds.

Try Aim Surplus. www.aimsuprlus.com I've ordered from them a few times and received good service. They might be close enough to you to save of shipping. They're sold out of Wolf, but have some Yugo surplus for a decent price. With that you can pick up the cases and recycle them to save some money too.
