Wolf bi-metal, steel?

Bi-Metal bullets are copper washed mild steel. They are soft enough where they won't damage the barrel but I can't say for sure if they'll damage a reactive target. They are also lead core.

Bimetal rounds shouldnt do anymore damage to reactive targets than regular copper FMJ rounds will. The mild steel used for the jacket is soft enough that it doesnt give it any special penetrating or damaging capabilities.

We've seen damage from the steel jackets on the steel targets we use for our local matches. The damage happens at close range and causes pitting.

OTOH there was the guy who brought surplus AP to a match. That punched holes thru the steel, but than again that's what .30-06 AP was designed to do. BSW

The wolf bimetal I've had recently is a copper sheet wrapped around steel, with a lead core (75 grain iirc), pretty neat looking. you can see both the steel and copper through the hollow tip.
