Got a box of a thousand 'Wolf' Large Pistol Primers today at the Gunshow.

Are these well though of?

Or..?

Anyone have any testimonials?

I have used them in the past. I tested them in different loads and ran them over the chronograph. After all of the testing I could not tell any difference between Wolf and Winchester. I will buy them again when I need to buy primers. Oh yeah. I had zero FTF.

I also have used many thousands of wolf primers with no problems. I just got in 15000 more from Widners.

Wolf LP primers are slightly larger than Winchester, Remingtom and CCI. Need more force to seat them but they all went bang.

I have also used in excess of 10k of their primers in small pistol, large pistol, small rifle magnam, and large rifle without a problem.

I have used a bunch of Wolf LP primers without problems, and a smaller amount of their SRM primers, also without problems. I just got a hold of some Wolf SP, from which I expect the same results.

The LP are slightly harder to seat than US made primers I have used, but they feed in my Dillon SDB just fine, and work well in the Lee Safety Prime.

If they cost the same as Federal or Winchester (my favorites), I'll buy Fed or Win, provided all are available. However, if Wolf is cheaper (which is usually is), or the others are not available, Wolf works for me.
