I haven't heard much about this courageous woman Virginian in the news media. Good Gal with a gun stops bad guy with an AR potentially saves the lives of everyone in the store by terminating this active shooter.

The store was posted as a gun-free establishment - too bad she may face charges, but the evil doer surely wasn't deterred by that little paper sign.

The media won't write it up.

That statement from the store should be plastered on every door in their market.

Earlier today it was thought the site is a fake news site. Some of the other "headlines" are over the top.

Not saying its NOT true but I could not find any other sources to substantiate it.

Well, the media probably shouldn't report on it, because it's fake.

1)Search google for 'Randall Pierce Lisa Harris'. The purported Boston Tribune page is the only mention of this. You'd think some local VA paper would have at least a short article.
2)Google can't find any mention of the named police chief. Since the ace reporters at the BT didn't mention the actual town, it's hard to dig deeper, but what podunk town doesn't have the police chief's name on the web somewhere?
3)Likewise, Bradfords Department Store doesn't have any web presence at all. Kind of funny that a 24 store chain wouldn't even have any hits in those assorted yellow pages sites.
4)Poke around on the 'Boston Tribune' page. There is exactly one article in the Science section, for example, dated in April. Their only contact info is a gmail address.

Trust, but verify.

I think that is a fake news site designed to get people riled up.

(At least that is what other forums are calling it.)

Not a single article from any other source is pretty much a dead giveaway.

A really bad joke trying to imitate The Onion in a gross, unspeakable manner. I will remove my post now. This whole thread should vanish, IMO.
