On June 23, FAS is offering a Women's Only Concealed Carry 101 class, taught by Gila Hayes, with Diane Walls and Kathy Jackson (that's me...) assisting.

This is a fun class in which we work hard to solve shooting problems, to improve marksmanship, increase understanding of how your gun works through loading and unloading and malfunction drills, and, as the name implies work out a lot of details about holster work. Safe drawing and reholstering is emphasized through the entire day.

Tuition for this program is $125. The free Handgun Safety Seminar is a prerequisite. There is a Women's Only Handgun Safety Seminar scheduled the day before (June 22), so the two classes can be taken back-to-back in one weekend.

You can find more information about the class at http://www.firearmsacademy.com/CC101.htm and more information about the school itself at www.firearmsacademy.com
