I'm not telling you what to do as far as gunsmith goes, if it's a custom I would have a gunsmith check it over, and a chamber cast made. If it's factory I would shoot factory ammo first, I can think of zero reason to add reloads to proofing a new rifle purchase to any possible problems with the rifle, and reloads create a possible "it's your gun now" situation from the seller be it gun broker or many of the major manufactures.

Yes, have a qualified gunsmith check it out for any safety issues. Make sure he checks headspace as well.

Not sure it is a custom rifle. It does look a trigger job was performed but I'm a rookie when it comes to the rest.

Where could I find a build date? I couldn't find a serial,lookup for alpine supreme or Ad heller
