There had been talk that Knife World was going to convert from newspaper format to a color slick with lots more pics and now they've done it. Knife World is about the only knife publication that has had no questions about their showing favoritism to major advertisers (probably because it was started by an ABS bladesmith and is run by an ABS board member and historian). They always were straight shooters in a cutthroat business.
The first copies are going to come in from the printer and they'll be headed out as soon as they're checked for problems. I'm sure there will be some bugs to work out, but Mark says he's been working 20 hrs a day for months on the new magazine and he's dedicated to providing the best information to the readers.
Another thing I'm enthusiastic about is they have a legal/political monthly article that is going to be contributed to by both the AKTI and Knife Rights. That way we'll get an industry and a grassroots perspective from the 2 organizations working to keep politicians grasping grubby paws out of our pockets (at least out of our pocket knives).
