Hello shooters,

I recently ordered some Hogue wood grips for my decocker only Taurus PT-92 and they do not fit properly out of the box. The relief on the right grip for the trigger bar is not wide enough for my model, causing pressure on the trigger bar and reliability problems with the trigger reset. I imagine that this grip will fit many of the model years, but my Taurus, IIRC, is an '88 production. This is a relatively easy fix if you have a dremmel tool, or about $20-30 at a gunsmith. Other than that, love the grips, but hate having to put work into a $40 set :cuss: Pachmayr rubber grips fit perfectly, i and will be using mine as a model for my milling. Hogue customer service is very understanding, but i've decided to go ahead and keep them and expand the relief. Hope this is useful and not already posted.

Pachmayr grips vs. Hogue grips. Notice pachmayr slot is much larger. Hogue has tracings for dremmel/ milling work to be done.
