Stopped by the gunplumbers today, to check on a part. Well, in the sale rack, he had some of the prettiest wood on a carbine that I'd ever seen. So, he said he'd make me a deal on the carbine. It's an Inland, at this time date unknown. I know that it'll function well; he knows US service weapons in and out. So, I've broken down, and gonna have to buy it tomorrow. Pics to follow!

Just wrong! You mention "prettiest wood on a carbine that I'd ever seen", then include no photos. :uhoh: Congrats on the upcoming rifle.

M1 Carbine is one of the handiest, fun, guns to shoot. A really, really, good pistol that!
