Does anyone have any suggestion on getting the Welded trigger pack screw removed. I just tried to drill out the welded collar with no luck. I went out and got a new 3/16 cobalt drill bit and ran done two batteries and only got two dimples in the collar. Man that is one tough weld. I also put my name on the CZ waiting list in June for a new trigger pack, but have not heard back.

I took care of mine by working on the other end of the stud. Drill out the female hex hole to weaken the stud head, and then twist the head off with vise-grips. No need to eliminate the hard weld.

Well finally got it out. Gave up on drilling the welded collar out, its hard as Titanium. Drilled a little in the hex hole and tried to vice grip it off, but no luck just check slipping off the nut head. Ended up going a little bigger drill but and drilled the head off. What a pain.

We have a few drill bits being passed around that seem to work well.
