Driving thru Ames, Iowa today and saw this incredible piece of art work.....a stainless steel turkey sitting in front of the Iowa Turkey Federation building. Snapped a few pictures for you to see. There is also a web site link for the artist Larry Pearson, showing how it was made. Enjoy.....

What strikes me is not so much that it is stainless steel, but that it is a stainless steel turkey, ... (yes, turkey).

Pretty cool photos. Thanx, I needed a lift on a dreary day. from :( to :) aint easy at times

Dang I just sold my 10ga BPS.

Very nice I would hate to see the overall weight of that thing.

Magnificent!

But they do strange things in Iowa........was in the Army with a farm boy from near Dubuque.....recall a letter he got from home that he was nearly dancing a jig over. At first I thought his wife had delivered twins.....turned out he was that ecstatic about his cow doing doubles........got the whole squad in tears laughing!
