trade a glock 26 for a Kahr mk40? I love my glock but a friend has a couple of guns he is gonna get rid of(going off to school needs money). But he is selling the Kahr to my ffl dealer. My dealer said he might trade me for my glock 26 he has someone looking for one. My thoughts are with summer and all here the Kahr might be a little easier to conceal. I will get a chance to test drive it first had 2 kahrs one was bad(poly frame) and the other I sold cause I needed the $. Anyway what do you guys think? I also posted on packing.org Thanks Joell33

I would advise you to keep your Glock 26, primarily because of the massive difference in felt recoil between it and the MK40. Your Glock also holds more rounds and can reload from a 15, 17 or 19 round magazine.

Hrm... I like Kahrs but I'm not overly fond of the shorter guns and I think I'd rather have a 9mm with hot loads than a 40. I'm also personally on trend of moving from sub compacts for carry to compacts.

Persnally, I'd keep the Glock. Or maybe trade it for a G19. If the Kahr was one of the standard sized Kahrs (3.5" barrel) or the tactical sized Kahrs, I'd consider going for the trade.
