Would you scope an AR-10?

Well would you? And with what? Since the 308 is a long range cartridge, a scope would make sense to me. Would you consider the AR a CQ weapon?

Based on what I'm getting soon, I'm going to use my Redfield Widfield 3-9 (American made) because it is able to be mounted low on the rifle.
Don't know what kind of rings I'll use yet.

AR-10A4, Armalite mount, Tasco SS fixed 10X done deal.

My Ar10 is the T model so its scoped naturally. However I am thinking of picking up a 16 inch upper. I would put an eotech or a new leapold 1-3 power dot sight on it. I think it would make a good battle rifle for short to medium range (0 to 500)
