Would you sell your G19

Some very good points being made. Dan's comment does ring home though. Why sell something that's been a proven performer.

Well, I guess I'll keep it and just wait a bit longer for the 1911. :)

Thanks for the input everyone.

I have both. The 19 was my first Glock. Don't sell it. You will regret it somewhere down the road.

The only guns you ever need to worry about selling are ones that are rare, unique, or have had special work done to them, especially if you are buying to fund another gun. For those who can't afford to have large gun collections (like me), the only way to have a wide variety of guns is to buy and sell. If you get lucky and pick up something special, don't sell it. But a glock 19 isn't in that category. If you get a serious case of buyers remorse or want to pick another one up down the road, you can stop in to any gunstore on the planet and pick one up.

I'm not going to sell mine, unless I really, really, REALLY, need the money. Best 9mm I have ever owned, but my P95 is pretty close and it's not going anywhere either. My Springfield 1911 on the other hand went the way of the dinosaur :D .

I had a 19 and purchased a 26. Like you, I also bought a magazine extension.

Immediately I realized I no longer needed the 19. As the 26 was just as accurate and better for CCW.

Last month I sold the 19. I have absolutely zero regrets. Now that I have carried and shot the 26, the only Glock in 9mm I would consider adding is a 34. With the 26, IMHO you need nothing in between.
