In the last few months I have gone from being primarily a handgun shooter w/ a couple of shotguns for trap & home defense to adding on an M1A and an AR project gun...I'm even thinking of adding a bolt action gun into the mix and round out the group!

Sooo many guns, so little money :D

Wow. None of the rest of us have ever had that problem.

You might be able to console yourself by understanding that rifles are engineering/art/protection/fun/history combined with an investment in something that will be priceless if/whenever our society ever completely breaks down.

GOLD is for the mistress—silver for the maid—
Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade.”
“Good!” said the Baron, sitting in his hall,
“But Iron—Cold Iron—is master of them all...”

Same thing happened to me. In 2003 i bought an M1 Garand from CMP. Neat rifle but it still didn't sway me away from my first love, handguns. A couple of years ago i bought a Ruger Mini 30 with a scope. Nice rifle but it just didn't do anything for me. Last year my buddy gave me a German Mauser M48 as a birthday presant. Hmmm....nice shooter...

Then in March of this year my friend decided he wanted my Mini 30 more than i did. I took a Yugo SKS, a Russian Mosan-Nagant M44 and a handfull of cash for the Mini 30. Loved the SKS.I really liked the way the M44 handled and it was a joy to shoot (except it's about 6" high @ 100yds). I figured with a synthetic stock (AT) and the bayo removed it would make a neat little carbine to carry in my Jeep. It did.

Then in March i bought a i bought a Turkish Mauser...then in April i bought a British Enfield No1 Mk. 3...then a few days ago i bought another German M44.
Tomorrow i'm picking up an Enfield No 5 Mk 1 jungle carbine that' been converted to .308 (by Gibbs) and fitted with synthetic stock.

And i've applied for my C&R....

It hasnt happened with me yet. I am not going to go on a major spending spree unless the 86 ban goes away or I become super rich (which isnt likely for the next few years).

Lately I have taken a liking to suppressors. Have one on the way for my AK, and am about to buy a suppressed pistol caliber bolt action as well.

Wow, where the hell did you get a G36C?

shto a million gusn in the army. when i got out, didnot touch one for 10 yrs, then , a few years ago, got one in trade from collectors firearms, we do some work for them , we get some firearms in return. my boss got a glock, i got a keltec p11. Havent stopped since.

Funny tho, for the last year or so I've been on the "I'm done buying guns" side of the fence :banghead: Then I stumbled on a great deal for a NIB M1A for less than a grand OTD and then the ever so progressive state I live in legalized "off list" ar lowers and that project began...Let's see, I guess I've got cowboy guns & blackpowder in my future!
Once a gun nut, always a gun nut
