I know I'm not the only one who has a AK with the underfolding stock.
The folder looks cool, but the metal stock leaves much to be desired as a cheek rest.
So... how bout wrapping it in para cord?
If you use the right diameter your foldability wont be blocked, and your cheek will thank you.
Here's some instructions on "Common Whipping". This type of wrap eliminates the need for knots by trapping the ends under the wrap.
Thus giving you a tight, neat job that looks good.
