Marty - your post is somewhat confusing. Are you asking us to help you locate a specific firearm, produced almost fifty years ago based on it's serial and the fact that it shipped with a particular type of grips?
If so, I can say with almost 100% surety that you're probably not going to have much luck. Tracking down said pistol, especially with as little details as you've given us, is virtually impossible. None of us has a way to simply search a database and find a particular gun's location in the world based simply on it's model number and serial.
Is there any other info you can give us? Is this a gun you once owned and are looking to buy back? Or a rare example that you want for your collection? Do you know anything about where in the US it was originally shipped to from the manufacturer?
Anything would help - otherwise you're likely to have just as much luck calling up random dealers and pawn shops and asking if they've got it in their case as you would asking us here.
